Joining
We'd love to have you join us. But first, join the mailing list. Attend a monthly meeting or two. Get acquainted with your fellow Mac users in the Treasure Valley. Then join in!
If you're ready to join, here's what you need to know:
- A single membership covers a family or a couple in a small business.
- Dues are $20 a year, for a calendar year. So members joining after January should prorate their dues at $1.65 per month. (ie: join in July and pay $10.00)
- Please fill out an application for membership and give it to our president or our secretary at the next monthly meeting you attend, along with your dues. The form is easy to download and print using Safari web browser or the free Acrobat Reader.
- If you want to join, but cannot make it to a meeting to drop off your membership form and dues, email our secretary/treasurer for instructions.
Member benefits
- Members are eligible to receive mailings of special offers we receive from vendors that are offered to MUG (Mac User Group) members only!
- Members can post classifieds (wants, needed, for sale) for Mac-related products to the website. Just email the List and Web officer.
- Members can add up to two links to their website(s) beside their listing on the contact page.
Officer benefits
- Membership fees for MUG officers (presidents, treasurer/secretaries, list and web officers) are waived for the duration of the period they serve.
