Leopard Launch Party!

There is a disturbance in the Mac universe...rumblings of a new version of the Mac operating system...this new cat is called Leopard. Leopard officially goes on sale at 6:00 pm this Friday, and the Boise Macintosh Computer Club is celebrating with a Launch Party! We are informally meeting at CompUSA between 6:00 and 7:30 to check out and maybe even buy Apple's newest cat. Usually CompUSA has some additional specials for a Mac OS launch, but they are yet to be announced...John-Erik will fill us in on some specials on the mailing list when they are finalized. I know that they have a great deal on 500 GB external hard drives for $119, perfect for the new Time Machine feature. This event will also give us a chance to network with other Mac users in the Treasure Valley, and let them know about our club. At 7:30 we will go and have a celebratory pizza party. I vote for Flying Pie! If you are planning to attend, please send a note to the mailing list, and let us know if you have a pizza preference. We will announce the winner, so if you want to attend the pizza party and skip the CompUSA launch, you can meet us there. Hope to see you on Friday!
